Corrections, disputes, and removals

Charlotte Estate Planning Attorney Guide is an independent directory of estate planning attorneys in the Charlotte area. Listings pull from publicly available business information, and each attorney's score is calculated from public Google reviews using a single, consistent rubric applied to every firm in the directory. Your listing is free. No payment changes your score or ranking. This page explains how corrections, disputes, and removals work. See how we rank for the full scoring rubric.

Factual corrections

If your business name, address, phone number, website, hours, or service descriptions need updating, we can fix that. Send us the correct information along with something that backs it up, such as a link to your website or your current Google Business Profile. Once verified, the correction is locked in and persists even when the directory pulls fresh data.

Disputes about scores

Scores are never edited by hand. A dispute means you believe the underlying data is wrong, such as reviews being tied to the wrong business, a review being misattributed to your firm, or a summary mischaracterizing what reviewers actually wrote. When you dispute, we recheck the sources and regenerate your listing. A dispute is not a request for a higher number, it is a claim that the data feeding the score is incorrect.

Removal requests

Your listing can be removed if your business is permanently closed, it is a duplicate entry, or it falls outside the scope of estate planning attorneys. The directory also runs a monthly verification cycle that automatically catches and removes closed firms. If you request removal but your listing is accurate and in scope, we will decline and tell you why.
